Parkview is set between the meandering Sundays River and the gleaming Indian Ocean. We are situated in Colchester, Eastern Cape just outside the South Gates of the Addo National Elephant Park. We offer our guests an experience of a lifetime. You will step into an Out of Africa experience with the Big 5 on your doorstep and antelope roaming freely on the premises. Vrystaat, our friendly Drommedaris, is also there to make you feel welcome and make your experience truly memorable.
Choose to stay in one of our four ensuite guest rooms in the main building or for the more adventurous we have five luxury ensuite tented rooms. We also offer luxury self catering units. To complete our accommodation package, we also offer camp sites with the luxury of their own bathrooms.
Parkview kitchen will treat you with wonderfull aromas and fine cuisine for breakfast and dinners. Depending on the time of the year our guests can lounge by the pool watching over the splendour view of Addo Elephant Park.
Situated only 38km (25 minutes drive) from Port Elizabeth airport gives you every reason to experience the majestic allure of the unspoilt Eastern Cape in our luxury lodge, where your body and soul will be revitalized.
Activities
We offer a Safari Game drive into the Addo National Elephant Park, survey the areas, witness the Big 5, antelope and birds in the comfort of our closed game viewing vehicle. Enjoy and appreciate Africa at its Best. It will truely be an unforgettable experience.
Full day game drive 9h00 am – 17h00 pm
Includes: Entry fees, beverages, picnic stop with snacks and lunch at the Main Gate’s restaurant.
Half day game drive 9h00am – 14h00 pm
Includes: Entry fees, beverages, picnic stop with snacks.
Other activities include massages, swimming, boat cruises on the river, sandboarding, bird watching and bicycles to hire.
We also cater for airport transfers.
Our Accommodation
Luxury Tented Accommodation
This accommodation consists of three Luxury Twin rooms and two Luxury Double rooms.
The Luxury Twin rooms consists of one room with an ensuite bathroom (bath/shower). You can indulge in nature on the patio facing the Addo National Elephant Park. This tent features a ceiling fan, coffee station, hairdryer, desk, bathroom amenities, refrigerator, and wifi.
The Luxury Double rooms is a two tented room with a sharing bathroom (bath/shower). This is suitable for a group of four guests or a family of four. It features king size beds, ceiling fan, coffee station, desk, hairdryer, refrigerator, wifi and a patio from where one can indulge in nature at its best.
Main Building Accommodation
This accommodation consists of one Deluxe Double room, one Standard Double room and two Basic Double rooms.
The Luxury Double room has a big ensuite double shower, bathtub, bathroom amenities, TV, coffee station, refrigerator, hairdryer, airconditioner and wifi. it also features its own step out patio and garden with private entrance to the swimming pool.
The Standard Double room has its own patio and small garden. It features an ensuite bathroom (shower/bath), bathroom amenities, coffee station, TV, refrigerator, hairdryer, wifi and airconditioner.
Stairs take you to the Basic Double Blue Crane room which features a bathroom with shower, bathroom amenities, coffee station, hairdryer, refrigerator, tv and wifi.
The Basic Double Protea room features a bathroom with shower, bathroom amenities, coffee station, hairdryer, refrigerator and wifi.
Caravan and Camping Accommodation
It Features six sites with own bathrooms which consist of a shower, toilet and basin. Barbeque/braai supplied at every site. Volleyball court and swimming pool on premises.
Self Catering Cottage
